Wow, all I can say is wow.

Okay, still above water should be the title of this blog, after last weekends hurricane. But I used that title already. I am behind on reading submissions, but need a break and felt like blogging. Never thought I would say that. Anyway, to the wow.

l am getting a lot of good submissions, and of course some not so good. But with the quality and quantity so far I will have to do everything in my power to publish two volumes of Mind Candy. I am already rejecting stories that are plenty good enough to be in print, and I keep getting better stories.

When all is said and done, if I manage to produce both volumes, I should be using about 30 stories, and in my to be reviewed folders I already have over 50 stories saved. (See the blog Folderology). I am still trying to give some feed back to stories I think are pretty good, but I am not asking for re-writes much anymore. And some stories don't get feed back, not because I don't think they are any good, but because I can't think of any advice to make them better than the 50 good stories I already have.

Thank y'all (I live in the south, I had to say that) for your submissions, for reading this blog (heaven knows I wouldn't) and for just being writers. Without writers, the world would be a sad place.
