Necronomicon Tampa next week.

Friday Oct 19th I will be in Tampa at the Necronomicon Convention.

I will be on several panel through the weekend. I will have a few copies of both anthologies, and I will be giving out Mind Candy Taffy. (strawberry/banana)

Friday night:

8 PM Which Has the Most Cultural Impact: Star Trek or Star Wars?,

9 PM a coffee Klatch, where I will discuss the difference in story telling between prose, movies, plays, and comics/graphic novels. And pretty much anything else those attending want to talk about.

Saturday:

12 Noon Take Me out to the Ballgame, Writing sports in science fiction, especially baseball, the guest of honor Rick Wilber's fave.

5 PM: Is Diversity Having the Desired Effect? The panel discusses what the effects of diversity are on F&SF and if they are what its proponents intend.

9 PM: Has the Internet Ruined Fan Fiction? Discussion of the pros and cons of the ability of anyone to publish fan fic on the net.

Sun:

10 AM: Are Comics, Games, and Film Advancing the SF Conversation?

1 PM: Marvel or DC? Come defend your favorite.
